DCRC is home to an expanding network of postgraduate researchers, engaged in a distinctive practice-based research culture. As a core member of the AHRC 3D3 Centre for Doctoral Training, the Centre is committed to the development and training of a new new generation of interdisciplinary researchers, who will critical engage with the creative and design challenges of today.

 

A partner in the the Pervasive Media Studio and UWE’s new VR Lab, the Centre is located across these unique environments on Bristol’s Harbourside where artists, creative companies, technologists and academics explore experience design and creative technology. We collaborate with local, national and international bodies including BBC, Aardman, Guardian News Media, MIT OpenDoc Lab and Bristol Games Hub.
